Last updated: 28 September 2026. Mozhi is a Malayalam learning application from Artiena LLC.
You may use guest mode or create a local profile with a name, age group and four-digit PIN. No email address, phone number or date of birth is required. Names, age groups, salted PIN verification hashes, scores, badges, learning activity and preferences are stored only in this app or browser on your device. They are not sent to Artiena by the learning application. Profiles do not sync between devices. The PIN separates local learner profiles and is not a secure online account.
Microphone permission is optional and requested only when you start recording your pronunciation. Recordings are temporary, remain on the device and are not uploaded. They are discarded when you close the activity or app. You may deny or revoke microphone permission and continue with the other lessons.
A parent or guardian can help a child create a profile using a nickname. Mozhi has no advertising, purchases, messaging, public profiles or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not request children's contact details. Please contact us if you believe personal information has been sent to us unintentionally.
The Android app bundles its learning content and audio for offline use. The website downloads these files from our hosting provider. Hosting systems may process ordinary access/security logs, such as IP address, browser details and requested URLs. Dictionary and attribution links open external websites whose privacy practices apply separately. No learner names or PINs are included in those links.
To remove all local profiles and progress, clear Mozhi's app storage in Android settings or clear this website's browser storage. Uninstalling the Android app also removes its local data. Android cloud backup is disabled. Clearing local data cannot be undone; there is no server copy to restore. You can continue as guest without creating a profile.
