Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Heirloom Table is a local-first personal cookbook application provided by Artiena (“Artiena”, “we”, “us”). We designed it so that your recipes, photographs, memories and app profile remain on your device unless you choose to export or back them up.

2. Information you add

You may add a name, recovery email address, local password or PIN, recipes, ingredients, photographs, memories and notes. This content is stored in the app’s local storage on your device. Artiena does not receive or store your cookbook content on its servers.

3. Purchases

If you buy Lifetime Local, Google Play processes the transaction. Google may provide the app with limited purchase information needed to confirm entitlement, such as product status and a purchase token. Artiena does not receive your full payment-card details. Google’s handling of payment information is governed by Google’s own privacy policy.

4. Device permissions

The app may request access to features such as your camera, photo library or file storage only when you choose a related action—for example, adding a recipe photo, exporting a PDF or saving a manual backup. You can manage permissions in Android settings.

5. Information we may receive from you

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, device details and description of the issue. Please do not send passwords, PINs, purchase credentials or private recipe content unless it is necessary and you are comfortable doing so.

6. Sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal information. Because recipe content is stored locally, we do not share that content with advertisers or data brokers. Information you send to support may be handled by service providers used to deliver email and resolve your request, subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention and deletion

Local app content remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. Support correspondence may be retained only as reasonably necessary to respond, keep business records, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

8. Children

Heirloom Table is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through an Artiena account or cloud service.

9. Security and backups

We use reasonable safeguards in the app, but no device or storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device access secure and maintaining manual backups if you want to protect against device loss, damage or app removal.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes or legal requirements develop. We will publish the revised policy here and update the effective date.
