ARTIENA LLC / MOTORA
Privacy information
Updated 5 October 2026. This explains MOTORA’s on-device vehicle records, connected account service and Google Play subscriptions.
Your vehicle records stay on your device
Vehicle details, maintenance, expenses, documents, licence images, trips and memories are stored on your phone. The account service does not upload or back up your garage. Each signed-in account uses a separate encrypted local garage. Signing into another device does not automatically restore your records.
Account information
When you create or use a connected MOTORA account, ARTIENA LLC processes your email address, a password hash, account status, session-token hashes and security information needed to authenticate you. If enabled, your authenticator secret is encrypted and your recovery code is stored as a hash. We do not store your password in readable form. Requests use HTTPS.
Hostinger hosts the account service. Titan sends verification and password-reset emails from accounts@artiena.com. These providers process connection and delivery information to provide their services. Website and server infrastructure may record IP addresses and request metadata for operation and security. MOTORA uses request-based rate limits to reduce abuse.
Verification, recovery and retention
Email verification and reset codes expire after 15 minutes and can be used once. Session tokens expire after 30 days; password reset and security changes revoke existing sessions. With two-factor authentication enabled, resetting a password also requires an authenticator or saved recovery code. Account recovery does not recover a forgotten backup password.
The active account record remains until deletion. Expired codes, sessions and rate-limit records are removed by the scheduled worker. Email queue contents are encrypted before sending; code contents are cleared after successful sending, and queue entries are removed approximately one day after expiry. Support correspondence and hosting-provider logs are managed separately; contact us with removal requests. Copies in provider backups may remain until their backup retention expires.
Google Play subscriptions
Google Play processes subscription payments. MOTORA does not receive or store your payment-card details. To verify your plan and vehicle allowance, our private account service processes purchase tokens, product and plan identifiers, subscription status, expiry and verification times, linked purchase references and a pseudonymous account identifier. Purchase tokens are encrypted in our private database. The pseudonymous identifier is sent to Google Play to link purchases to your MOTORA account and reduce purchase misuse.
We use this information to activate, restore and refresh subscription access. Google and our hosting provider process information needed to provide these services. Subscription records are retained while your account exists and removed with account deletion. Deleting a MOTORA account does not cancel a Google Play subscription: manage or cancel it in Google Play. Cancellation does not erase your locally stored vehicle history.
Permissions and sharing
Notifications are used for reminders. Location is used when you request features such as an SOS location draft. Photos, videos and documents are accessed when you select them. You can revoke Android permissions in your phone settings. When you export, share, open maps or hand content to another app, the selected service handles that content under its own terms. SOS drafts require you to send the message. Copies shared outside MOTORA are not removed by deleting a local record.
Delete your account or local records
In the connected app, open Settings, then Account, and select Delete account. Account deletion removes the server account, sessions, security setup and related verification records. It does not delete exported copies or erase the separate garage stored on your phone. Back up anything you intend to keep before clearing Android app storage or uninstalling.
You can also request account deletion without the app by emailing developer@artiena.com from your registered email address, with the subject “MOTORA account deletion”. We will verify ownership before processing the request. Never send your password, authenticator code, recovery code or identity documents.
Backups and support
Vehicle deactivation keeps its history. Exported .motora backups are password protected; keep the file and password safe. Uninstalling or clearing storage can permanently remove unbacked-up local records. ARTIENA LLC cannot remotely recover them. Email developer@artiena.com for privacy questions or support.
